Composition and Manufacturing

G10 is a glass - epoxy composite. It is manufactured by impregnating multiple layers of woven glass fiber cloth with an epoxy resin. The glass fibers, acting as the reinforcement, provide high tensile strength, while the epoxy resin serves as the matrix, binding the fibers together and enhancing the material's overall integrity. Through a process of heat - pressing and curing, these layers are consolidated into a solid, homogeneous sheet, resulting in a material with consistent properties throughout.
