Imperial Penguin M060(3.35''+DLC-SLD Magic+Bone)-Crossbar lock

Refined Craftsmanship. Elevated Materials. Precision Cutting.

Hand-Ground Sheepsfoot Blade — Convex & Razor Sharp

The Imperial Penguin M060 features a classic sheepsfoot profile crafted from premium SLD-Magic laminated steel, available in both standard satin and DLC-coated variants. Every blade carries a naturally unique clad line, making each piece subtly one-of-a-kind.

The standard version transitions from a sandblasted spine to a mirror-polished edge, showcasing meticulous hand finishing.
The DLC-coated blade adds a deep, stealth-black surface that enhances wear and corrosion resistance, while preserving the underlying laminated pattern beneath the coating.

Unlike common V-shaped factory edges, the M060 is fully hand-sharpened using a traditional Hamaguri (Convex) grind, delivering:

• Stronger edge retention

• Smoother cutting performance

• Higher durability under real use

Each blade is individually ground and sharpened by hand — a level of craftsmanship rarely seen in production knives.

Easy Maintenance — Keep It Sharp with a Leather Strop

A convex edge is easier to maintain than it looks. Regular stropping with a leather strop helps restore sharpness and reduces the need for frequent sharpening, without constantly recreating the original convex geometry. For significant dullness or edge damage, conventional sharpening may still be necessary.
